The slim and powerful BF-Q190 bronchoscope facilitates routine examinations and treatment in the bronchi with superb high resolution images. The excellent insertion and visualisation capabilities, further enhanced by the unique insertion tube rotation function, fully supports diagnostics in the deeper segments of the bronchial tree.

The BF-Q190 slim bronchoscope is ideal for diagnostic bronchoscopy and treatment in the deeper bronchi. The insertion tube measures only 4.9 mm and the distal end is just 4.8 mm, yet it still has a generous 2.0 mm channel. As a standard bronchoscope, the BF-Q190 offers great functionality and exceptional image quality, with high resolution across the 120° field of view and greatly improved NBI capability. The rotatable insertion tube and increased upward angulation improve maneuverability, while features like the waterproof one-touch connector, improve endoscopy suite management.

Stunning high resolution imaging in a slim scope

Advancing visualisation: The BF-Q190 offers high resolution imaging in white light and NBI modes. The system-incorporated pre-freeze function provides sharp still image capture within a fraction of a second.

Insertion tube rotation function and 210° angulation

Advancing maneuverability: The slim insertion tube (4.9 mm diameter, 4.8 mm distal end) along with its unique rotation function and the increased upward angulation of 210° provide further insertion support, allow precise targeting during sampling and offer additional degrees of freedom to perform the procedure in a more comfortable body position.

Fully waterproof endoscope and one-touch connector

The design of the new waterproof connector allows full submersion without a water-resistant cap and eliminates the associated risk of an expensive repair due to accidental immersion of the endoscope. The one-touch connector links the endoscope to the endoscopy system in a single movement and thus minimises the effort required for set-up prior to and in between cases.

Slim bronchoscope design

The slim BF-Q190 for diagnostic bronchoscopy in the deeper bronchi features a distal end diameter measuring 4.8 mm, ideal for routine bronchoscopy in the larger and deeper bronchi.

Excellent image quality

The exceptional image quality in this slim bronchoscope, enables powerful diagnostic bronchoscopy. The BF-Q190 gives excellent high resolution image quality across the 120° field of view.

Narrow Band Imaging capability

NBI is a valuable tool for revealing neoangiogenic changes in the submucosal tissue. With the improved performance of the system components it is now possible to view twice the distance compared to before. Thus NBI now becomes a really effective observation mode for defining changes in the vascular structure of the mucosa.

Improved maneuverability

The unique insertion tube rotation function allows 120° rotation in each direction allowing precise targeting of subsegmental bronchi, for targeted biopsies or the evaluation of bronchial subsegments by EBUS miniature probes. This function enhances the procedure, providing the opportunity to keep a relaxed body posture even in the more difficult to intubate areas.

2.0 mm diameter instrument channel

The standard 2.0 mm instrument channel of this Q-scope accommodates a wide range of EndoTherapy instruments for diagnostic and interventional purposes. It is also compatible with electrosurgical and laser devices.

Scope ID function

The videobronchoscope has a built-in memory chip, which allows scope information to be displayed on the monitor. This enables tracking of video bronchoscopes in the endoscopy unit.

Compatible with reprocessing workflows

The BF-Q190 can be embedded into existing cleaning and disinfection workflows, supporting full traceability and documentation of all reprocessing relevant phases. The scope is also waterproof, making water-resistant caps unnecessary.

Cleaning, drying and storage

The BF-Q190 is fully compatible with Olympus ETD washer/disinfectors and the Olympus endoscope drying cabinet for complete endoscope drying and storage for extended periods under safe conditions.
