Miniature Probe
Miniature Probe
The UM-2R and UM-3R are excellent 'all-rounder' ultrasonic miniature probes, designed to take high-resolution ultrasonographic images while extended via the working channel of a standard medical endoscope. Suitable for use throughout the digestive tract and in the lungs, they may be coupled with a balloon sheath for optimum imaging.
The UM-2R and UM-3R are ultrasonic miniature probes designed to be inserted through the working channel of a standard endoscope with a diameter of 2.8mm or more, allowing effortless ultrasonic examination during routine endoscopy. These versatile mechanical radial ultrasound probes offer high-resolution ultrasound imaging for a wide range of applications, including throughout the upper and lower digestive tracts. Compatibility with a balloon sheath allows improved acoustic coupling and the elimination of artefacts for exceptionally clear ultrasonic images.
The UM-2R and UM-3Rultrasound miniature probes are designed to be extended via the working channel of a medical endoscope, starting at a diameter of 2.8 mm.
Both miniprobes can be used in the oesophagus, stomach, colon and rectum, improving diagnostic capabilities in both the upper and lower digestive tracts.
The 360° mechanical radial scanning probes provide a panoramic ultrasonic view, ensuring precise examination of the area of interest.
The probes are available at scanning frequencies of 12 MHz or 20 MHz, giving the appropriate high-resolution ultrasound images of the area of interest.
These ultrasonic probes are just 2.5 mm in diameter, allowing their easy insertion through the working channel of a standard medical endoscope of 2.8 mm, and enabling you to conduct detailed ultrasonic examinations as part of routine endoscopy.
These versatile miniprobes can be used for ultrasonic imaging of the oesophagus, stomach, colon and rectum, enabling you to cover a wide range of applications with no need to switch to an echoendoscope.
The UM-2R operates at a scanning frequency of 12 MHz, allowing deeper tissue penetration of the ultrasound image; while the UM-3R operates at 20 MHz, enabling you to take high-resolution images of the area of interest.
Mechanical radial scanning over a 360° field of vision with these miniprobes affords you a detailed ultrasonic view of the whole area of interest.
